Election Results and Pending Runoffs

Jindal Appoints Timmy Teepell As His New Chief Of Staff

Gov.-elect Bobby Jindal on Monday Timmy Teepell, who previously worked for Jindal as his congressional chief of staff, will also serve as chief of staff in the governor's office after Jindal is inaugurated in January.

Teepell, 32, is a Baton Rouge native who was home-schooled in high school and never attended college. Jindal's spokeswoman Melissa Sellers said Teepell "self-taught himself through college."

This speaks multitudes to the individual motivation of a man, as well as casting a light on how well one can be taught outside of the socialist school system.

{passing out the shoe polish or champagne choices to those affected by that statement}

OK Back to the un offending topics then: All LA election results are available here: clicky

All Chronicle members in District 71 please research your upcoming runoff well. You are replacing friend of The Chronicle; Dale Erdey in your district.

I think it would have been a HOOT, if Sammy Kershaw would have gotten the LT GOV seat. But, I guess everyone else thinks Mitch is doing a swell job so, all we can do is continue to keep an eye out.

Otherwise: Hope things turned out well for you in your choices.

In case you are curious, this is a little quiz for you to find out where you actually fit in the grand political scheme, as it were. 10 simple questions that may help you understand why you do not followl blindly behind what the politicians are doing.

Couple Make Burglar Clean Up at Gunpoint

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) -- A burglar in Montgomery chose the wrong family to mess with, literally. Adrian and Tiffany McKinnon returned home on Tuesday after a week away to find that thieves had emptied almost everything the family of five owned, Tiffany McKinnon said through tears.

"Tears just rolled down my face as I walked in and saw everything gone and piles of trash all over my home," she said.

Adrian McKinnon sent his wife to see her sister while he inspected the piles left behind. As he walked back into the sunroom, a man walked through the back door straight into him, Tiffany McKinnon told the Montgomery Advertiser in a story Thursday.

"My husband Adrian caught the thief red-handed in our home," she said. "And what is even crazier, the man even had my husband's hat sitting right on his head."

Adrian McKinnon held the suspect, 33-year-old Tajuan Bullock, at gunpoint and told him to sit on the floor until he decided what to do.

"We made this man clean up all the mess he made, piles of stuff, he had thrown out of my drawers and cabinets onto the floor," Tiffany McKinnon said.

When police arrived, Bullock complained about being forced to clean the home at gunpoint.

"This man had the nerve to raise sand about us making him clean up the mess he made in my house," she said. "The police officer laughed at him when he complained and said anybody else would have shot him dead."

Sad Day for Some

Ed and Elaine Brown have been arrested.

I love the way it was done by the Marshalls, trickery and deciept. I think some people will be glad it 'ended peacefully'. I do not know all of the details, nor will any of us for many years, but I do not think it was the the Browns' intention to do so. They will be locked away and hidden. Forgotten about and ignored, just as any who stand against the system.

Many a Patriot has fallen to the wayside, not gaining that very title due to their battle being lost.

The IRS = theirs, it is indeed a sad day for some. Yet, if you are a US Marshall, break out the cake and soda, its time to celebrate a victory.

Chalk one up for the 'Good Guys'.

The arrests "will be a relief to everyone in the community," said state Agriculture Commissioner Stephen Taylor, a Plainfield resident. "This has been such a distraction to everybody."

Thanks, Mister Taylor, you're swell, just looking out for the little guy.

This is an Hour and a half movie. But, it covers most of the stuff we ponder here at The Chronicle. If you skip to the 5 minute mark, you do not have to watch the previews :)
