FDA

The FDA is another alphabet agency that is constantly gaining ground on our freedoms. On top of trying to regulate vitamins they hand out these dangerous pharmaceuticals like candy. Anything natural of value to us has to be stamped out so that we have to look to Ma and Pa Senator to provide for us like children.

Did you know that pasteurized cow's milk is the number one allergic food in this country. It has been associated with a number of symptoms and illnesses including:
Diarrhea, Cramps, Bloating, Gas ,Gastrointestinal bleeding ,Iron-deficiency anemia ,
Skin rashes ,Allergies ,Colic in infants ,Osteoporosis ,Increased tooth decay ,Arthritis ,
Increased tooth decay ,Growth problems in children ,Heart disease ,Cancer ,
Atherosclerosis ,Acne ,Recurrent ear infections in children, Type 1 diabetes ,
Rheumatoid arthritis ,Infertility ,Leukemia and Autism

Raw milk, on the other hand, is not associated with any of these problems, and even people who have been allergic to pasteurized milk for many years can typically tolerate and even thrive on raw milk.

The only reason for pasteurization in the first place was to kill any germs that were on the crocks used in dairy farming. In this day and age stainless steel is used exclusively and is easily sterilized to avoid any germs. Click here for info on Real Milk

More of the are you a Commie test:

Part 2

The second point of the communist manifesto is for the government to levy an increasing or progressive income tax.

Do you pay income taxes? score yourself 10 points for yes, 0 points for a no.

Part 3

Third is an abolition of inheritance. Maybe you inherit something from your great uncle Wilbur. Lets say he left $100 for simplicity. He was a retired man who simply rented a small apartment after aunt Edna died. I hope your real Uncle Wilbur isn't quite that poor but I just want to keep in easy for the people who aren't math whiz es.

The inheritance taxes are 28% to 35%. So out of the $100 you have 33 +/- dollars that belongs to the government to pay them for poor uncle Wilbur's death? They make money because he died? On top of this, any of his Social Security 'retirement fund' that he did not receive yet, goes back into the general fund and is distributed as the government see fit. You receive none of his 'retirement', only $67 and his spare set of teeth. Are we mourning because uncle Wilbur is gone or because we just got robbed?

10 points for compliance, 0 for all you relatives still being alive and sticking it to 'the man' well into their 80s.

I saw the ‘O’Reilly’ show last night and the guest host Michelle Malkin, a known RNC point man, had a guest on from the DNC, some cutie blonde [Sorry honey I can’t remember the name of your brainless head].

So these two sweeties were talking about the presidential hopefuls. But, specifically what a outsider and crazy man Ron Paul was.

If the RNC and DNC sweethearts are in agreement that he is the wrong man for the job, he must be the right man for the job.

Are You a Practicing Communist?

I recently came across this interesting question from a guy named George. I figure ‘Heck No’ I am a true red-blooded American. I even am a veteran for goodness sake. I hate communism and would never want to have anything to do with it. Easy answer then, ‘No, I am not a practicing communist.’

Then George explained the communist manifesto, written by Carl Marx in 1848 when he was 30 years old. There has been an entire movement and culture built around this essay.

There are 10 points on the manifesto and I would like to cover each one over a short time here. I will try to keep it to a minimum but, if you want to see the long version then I direct you to
George’s site.

Point #1 is the Abolition of personal land.

No problem right? I mean I own my own house. But, how much of the state is government owned? State parks and recreation areas, which I have to pay to use these state owned parks at $5 for ‘day passes to the state park.

Then I have to pay a tax on my own land. So, is it my land at all? Or am I renting it from the government? If I don’t pay the taxes they will seize ‘my land’ and sell it.

Leviticus 25:23: 'The land shall not be sold forever for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.'

Score 10 points if this is you. And I will provide the next test question soon.

Scraps
It is funny really when you think about things as they really are. I mean take this clown for instance. Metal is very precious, thus money has been made with it since early times. Another guy gets charged with theft of a truck because he ‘paid’ the thief $500 for the wheels off the trailer. What is our money ‘coined’ in? Shiny new green and pink paper,……ooooww pretty. Here is a guy, without a gun, discharging 100 rounds with a hammer and a vice for the brass casings. He wanted to trade the brass for paper. He ends up shooting himself for a few dollars.

Why is it that liberals hate the idea of an armed citizen so much? They can read the statistics just like we can. If they care to research the matter, they will learn that people with concealed carry permits simply do not commit gun crimes! So, the liberal opposition to citizens carrying guns simply cannot be excused over fears for general public safety. The facts simply don't bear those fears out. There has to be something else at work here, and there is. Liberals don't like armed individuals because they are .... individuals. Carrying a gun for self-defense is, as I said, a uniquely individual pursuit. It's a loud statement by an individual citizen saying "I own my life, and I have the right to take deadly action to defend it." The liberal believes that your life belongs to government, and that it is the government's job to protect it.

HPV Vaccine Update
Bowing to reality, Gov. Rick Perry (R-Texas) ended a bitter battle with the state legislature yesterday by allowing the bill that overrides his executive order on the HPV vaccine to become law. In a scathing press conference in Austin, the governor unleashed his fury on lawmakers who reversed his policy. How ironic. Perry didn't appreciate being forced to assent to something against his will any more than the state's parents did. The governor, who neither vetoed nor signed the proposal, faulted lawmakers for allowing women to die of a preventable disease. "I challenge legislators to look these [infected] women in the eyes and tell them, 'We could have prevented this disease...but we just didn't have the gumption to address all the misguided and misleading political rhetoric.'" His statements didn't sit well with state leaders who support the vaccine but believe Texas is overstepping its bounds by mandating it for young girls. Several officials, including Perry's own Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst, put the blame on Perry's insistence on acting unilaterally. "All the governor would have had to do is talk to us, and he would have seen that we would have embraced a program where there was an opt-in instead of an opt-out."

Gun Control Bill Seeks to Close 'Terror Gap'?
A Second Amendment group says Attorney General Alberto Gonzales should resign as the nation's highest ranking law enforcement officer, given his "troubling support" for a new gun control bill that seeks to close the "terror gap" in federal law.S. 1237 would give the attorney general, a presidential appointee, the authority to suspend or cancel someone's Second Amendment right, even if that person has never been charged with a crime, the Second Amendment Foundation warned. At the Justice Department's request, the bill was introduced last week by Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.), whom SAF describes as one of the most extreme anti-gunners in Congress. The "Denying Firearms and Explosives to Dangerous Terrorists Act of 2007" would give the attorney general discretionary authority to deny the purchase of firearms (or the issuance of firearms and explosives licenses) to "known or suspected terrorists." The bill has been referred to Judiciary Committee. The Second Amendment Foundation warned the bill would allow the attorney general to block gun sales "because of some vague suspicion that an American citizen may be up to no good."SAF founder Alan Gottlieb said the bill "raises serious concerns about how someone becomes a 'suspected terrorist.' Nobody has explained how one gets their name on such a list, and worse, nobody knows how to get one's name off such a list."There's also a larger concern, Gottlieb added: "When did we decide as a nation that it is a good idea to give a cabinet member the power to deny someone's constitutional right simply on suspicion, without a trial or anything approaching due process?"Under the federal Brady Act, licensed firearm dealers must request background checks on all would-be gun buyers. The National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) is supposed to bar convicted felons and mentally unstable people from buying guns. But Gonzales and Sen. Lautenberg worry that there is no provision to deny "suspected terrorists" from purchasing a gun.In January 2005, the Government Accountability Office reported that during one five-month period (Feb. 3-June 30, 2004), people designated by the federal government as "known or suspected terrorists" tried to purchase a total of 44 firearms. The GAO said in 35 cases, the FBI allowed the transactions to proceed because field agents were unable to find any disqualifying information as stipulated in the Brady Act.In March 2005, Sen. Lautenberg asked Attorney General Gonzales and FBI Director Robert Mueller to look into the matter. In response, the Justice Department created a working group that produced the recommendations on which Lautenberg's bill is based.Lautenberg's website says his bill would deny gun purchases to "known or suspected terrorists" in cases where the attorney general "reasonably believes that the person may use a firearm or explosives in connection with terrorism." Lautenberg said his bill includes "due process safeguards" that would allow people to challenge the attorney general's denial of a firearm purchase or license; and it would protect "the sensitive information upon which terrorist watch list listings are based." Many Americans have complained about the secret government "watch lists" used to screen airline passengers."We're not surprised that General Gonzales has found an agreeable sponsor in Frank Lautenberg," Gottlieb said. "The senator from New Jersey has never seen a restrictive gun control scheme he did not immediately embrace, and S. 1237 is loaded with red flags. "Attorney General Gonzales has no business asking for that kind of power over any tenet in the Bill of Rights," Gottlieb said. "He took an oath to uphold the Constitution, not trample it. Perhaps it is time for him to go."

So Much for 'Mother' Earth
According to radical environmentalists, the biggest threat to the earth isn't CO2 emissions or climate change--it's children. A new paper by Optimum Population Trust (OPT) contends that kids are "bad for the planet" and if couples had one less child, they could "cut their family's carbon dioxide output by the equivalent of 620 [cross-Atlantic flights]." Rather than follow their own dreams of having a family, John Guillebaud, co-chairman of OPT, said that potential parents should first consider the environmental consequences. Another eco-militant, Paul Watson, founder of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, is calling for a green genocide. In a May 4 editorial, Watson says mankind "is acting like a virus" and appeals for the world to decrease its population by more than five billion. In the past, Watson has come under fire for claiming that humans are "the AIDS of the earth." Rhetoric like this, fueled by profound pessimism about human possibility, is driving demographic collapse in much of the West, where sub-replacement level fertility is on a collision course with pension liabilities, especially in Europe. Even Al Gore, who this weekend spoke to the American Institute of Architects, resorted to calling the alleged bio-threat a "spiritual crisis." In this he is half-right as the key to this eco-pessimism is despair. The "green" campaign, elevated to a fever pitch by Gore and others who advocate a stronger hand for government, is paving the way for the dire messages of organizations like OPT and Sea Shepherd. I have to ask, if we take their advice and quit having children, just who exactly would we be saving the earth for?

Altered Corn
Thursday, April 12, 2007
A variety of genetically modified corn that was approved for human consumption in 2006 caused signs of liver and kidney toxicity as well as hormonal changes in rats in a study performed by researchers from the independent Committee for Independent Research and Genetic Engineering at the University of Caen in France.

• The corn in question, MON863, is made by the Monsanto Company and approved for use in Australia, Canada, China, the European Union, Japan, Mexico, the Philippines, and the United States. It has had a gene inserted from the bacteria Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt), which causes the plant's cells to produce a pesticide.

• Researchers fed rats either unmodified corn or diets containing 11 or 30 percent MON863 for 90 days. The rats who ate modified corn were found to exhibit signs of liver and kidney toxicity, as well as signs of hormonal changes.

• Male rats lost an average of 3.3 percent of their body weight, and their excretion of phosphorus and sodium decreased. Female rats gained an average of 3.7 percent of their body weight, while their triglyceride levels increased by 24 to 40 percent.

• The mechanism that causes the toxicity is not yet known, but the researchers say there is evidence that the Bt toxin may cause the perforation of blood cells. They expressed concern that the methods used by Monsanto in initial tests of the corn were statistically flawed and called their own tests "the best mammalian toxicity tests available."

• Greenpeace responded to the study by calling for an immediate recall of all MON863 corn and the reassessment of all genetically modified foods currently approved for the market.

• Quote: "Our counter-evaluation shows that there are signs of toxicity, and nobody can say scientifically and seriously the consumption of the transgenic maize MON863 is safe and good for health." - Lead Author Gilles Eric SeraliniWhat you need to know -

• It seems that the more these GM foods are tested, the more frightening the implications seem to be for human health. When companies like Monsanto do their own in-house testing, results are mysteriously favorable in nearly all cases, but when independent labs run their own tests, the results are downright shocking.

• I find it interesting that the FDA believes U.S. consumers should not be allowed to know which foods are genetically modified and which aren't. The push for honest labeling of GM foods has been blockaded by corporate interests and corrupt federal regulators.

Venezuela criticizes DEA as 'new cartel'
Venezuela on Monday said it will not allow U.S. agents to carry out counter-drug operations in the country, accusing the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) of being a "new cartel" that aids traffickers.

Justice Minister Pedro Carreno said the South American nation suspended cooperation with the agency in 2005 after determining that "they were moving a large amount of drugs." President Hugo Chavez at the time also accused the DEA of spying.

"The United States with its DEA monopolizes the shipping of drugs like a cartel," Carreno told reporters. "We determined that we were evidently in the presence of a new cartel." He did not elaborate.

Spokesman Brian Penn said the U.S. Embassy categorically denies the accusation and called the DEA "the leading agency combating drug trafficking around the world."

"We'd like to cooperate with Venezuela to not only increase the number of seizures in Venezuela but also to help them to prosecute narcotraffickers who are operating in Venezuelan territory. We think sharing of information can aid Venezuela in this," Penn said.

Washington has repeatedly accused Venezuela of not cooperating in counter-drug efforts and says cocaine shipments are increasingly passing through the country from neighboring Colombia.

U.S. officials say about 10 DEA agents have remained in Venezuela working with law enforcement contacts even after the Chavez government suspended formal cooperation
Carreno was responding to comments by John Walters, the U.S. director of National Drug Control Policy, who told the Colombian magazine Semana in an interview published last week: "Chavez has refused to cooperate. It's a shame. Venezuela is gaining in importance for the drug traffickers."

Carreno said Venezuela is making important strides in fighting drug trafficking.
"The Venezuelan government doesn't accept blackmail," Carreno said. Security agencies are willing to follow up on any information provided to track down traffickers, he added, but "what we will not permit them to do is carry out operations in our territory."

6 Charged With Plot to Attack N.J. Base

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. (AP) -- Six nationals of the former Yugoslavia were arrested on charges they plotted to attack the Fort Dix Army base and "kill as many soldiers as possible," federal authorities said Tuesday.

The six were scheduled to appear in U.S. District Court in Camden later Tuesday to face charges of conspiracy to kill U.S. servicemen, said Michael Drewniak, a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's Office in New Jersey.

Five of them lived in Cherry Hill, about 10 miles east of Philadelphia and 20 miles southwest of Fort Dix, he said.

A law enforcement official, speaking on condition of anonymity because documents in the case remain sealed, said the attack was stopped in the planning stages. The men were arrested while trying to buy automatic weapons in a sale set-up by law enforcement authorities, the officials said.

The official said that the men had lived in the United States for some time and were arrested as part of a joint federal and local investigation.

The Star-Ledger of Newark reported on its Web site that the men had agreed to buy AK-47 assault rifles from an arms dealer who was secretly cooperating with the FBI. It cited a law enforcement person who spoke on condition of anonymity because the source was not authorized to speak about the arrests.

FBI spokeswoman Jerri Williams said U.S. Attorney Christopher Christie and J.P. Weis, special agent in charge of the FBI in Philadelphia, planned a 2:30 p.m. news conference to discuss the arrests.

Fort Dix is used to train soldiers, particularly reservists. It also housed refugees from Kosovo in 1999.

Other Stuffs

Brace yourself for this one. Your tax dollars are being called upon to pay for reparations to the people of Guam for the Japanese's actions in WWII. That's right. You read it correctly! Americans will pay for what Japanese did in a war that was fought over 50 years ago.

The Kansas City airport has added foot-washing basins for Muslim cabbies. How far is this nonsense going to go? Last year we learned that the TSA was providing Muslim sensitivity training to 45,000 airport workers.

The postal service of Canada supports my wussification theory. One worker refuses to deliver mail to a house because of a "threatening cat." And I thought my mail pixie was a wimp.

The global warming cultists are in the news again ... and that's not news. This time the story is about "binge flying." It's killing the planet, you know.

The native-born are leaving "hip" cities for the heartland. Apparently, Americans are fleeing the illegal immigrant invasion.

NEWS
The New Orleans Police Department asked lawmakers Monday for nearly $7 million in equipment and recruitment costs to increase its crime-fighting tactics after Hurricane Katrina and to end state police and National Guard assistance in the city.
The police department is seeking dollars for bulletproof vests for incoming police recruits, armored vehicles, mobile command units and buses for large deployments of officers.
Police Superintendent Warren Riley told the House Appropriations Committee that the department needs money to replace equipment flooded and damaged by Katrina and to improve its policing efforts.

He also asked for dollars to pay for $7,000 signing bonuses for officers recruited from other states and to cover the costs of a large recruiting push to attract new officers.

Violent crime in the city has risen since Katrina though New Orleans has fewer residents than it did before the storm.

A study by a Tulane University demographer said New Orleans' per capita murder rate was 96 per 100,000 people last year, the highest in the nation.

Lawmakers on the House Appropriations Committee, which is considering how to construct the state's budget for the upcoming year that begins July 1, were sympathetic to Riley's request for aid, saying they wanted to improve safety for New Orleans' residents and tourists.

Facts to ponder:

(A) The number of physicians in the U.S. is 700,000.

(B) Accidental deaths caused by physicians per year are 120,000.

(C) Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171.

Statistics courtesy of U.S. Dept of Health and Human Services.

Now think about this: Guns:

(A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000. (Yes, that's 80 million.)

(B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500.

(C) The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is .000188.

Statistics courtesy of the FBI.

So, statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.

Remember, "Guns don't kill people, doctors do."

Fact: Not everyone has a gun, but almost everyone has at least one doctor.

Please alert your friends to this alarming threat.

We must ban doctors before this gets completely out of hand!!!!!

Out of concern for the public at large, we have withheld the statistics on lawyers for fear the shock would cause people to panic and seek medical attention!
